18 Nov AiSP – Public Disclosure of Two Previously Undisclosed Vulnerabilities in an IoT Product

I will be revealing two (2) previously undisclosed vulnerabilities I had discovered in an Internet of Things (IoT) platform while I was doing my Masters research with the Royal Holloway ISG Smart Card and IoT Security Centre. Along with the disclosure, I will be sharing my motivations for the research, my journey on finding the vulnerabilities, demonstrating how I found the vulnerabilities, impact of the vulnerabilities and finally the responsible disclosure process with the vendor.
